Witness the craftsmanship, discover the heritage, taste the iconic cognacs. An immersive introduction to the world of Hennessy.
Exclusively for Hennessy visitors, embark on a leisurely crossing of the Charente River aboard one of our solar-powered boats. Enjoy panoramic vistas of Cognac's historical district as you retrace the route of the flat-bottomed boats that once transported Hennessy cognacs to the world.
Next : a visit to the Pavillons Cellar, where centuries of history blend with a contemporary scenography to reveal how our experts and artisans craft unparalleled cognacs.
Your visit includes a mesmerizing virtual reality odyssey, MOBILIS, the brainchild of world-renowned French artists Olivier Kuntzel & Florence Deygas. Two years in the making, this ambitious work of art blends poetry with cutting-edge technology, bringing to life the Hennessy saga in a way never seen before.
This artistic creation required 2 years of work and the talent of 50 creative contributors including the engineers at Studio Backlight, one of the most awarded VR studios in the world.
MOBILIS was voted 'Best Innovation' at the 2024 Wine Tourism Awards and 2025 'Best of Wine Tourism' awards in Bordeaux.
Your visit continues in the Faïencerie cellar. There, in the half-light, alignments of hundreds of barrels speak to a mystique that goes back centuries. The wood of the barrels is always hand-calligraphed with chalk to indicate the year of harvest and provenance of the eaux-de-vie.
You will also discover the natural phenomenon known as the "angels' share."
A presentation of our Tasting Committee's daily ritual - an organization for excellence that is unique to Hennessy, and sets us apart from all other cognacs - is followed by a guided tasting of two iconic cognacs: Hennessy V.S and V.S.O.P (served neat, on the rocks and in a cocktail).

This visit is accessible to visitors with special access needs. A "Mobility Inclusion" reduced ticket rate is available for them and a guest, bookable online or by email directly with our team.
Please note that pets are not allowed on the grounds.
For health and safety reasons, the use of virtual reality headsets is reserved to visitors aged 12 and above. Please note that exposure to virtual reality can disrupt the sensory system and may lead to various mild symptoms (such as nausea or vertigo) that wear off quickly. The use of these technologies is not recommended for people who suffer from epileptic seizures or sensitive people (eg pregnant women or people prone to panic attacks). Minors aged 12-17 will not be allowed to take part in the virtual reality immersive experience without an accompanying adult. Alternative activities are available for visitors not participating in the virtual reality experience.
